How to use
  1. Pick a location — Choose a coastal spot from the dropdown above, or go straight to /tide/location-slug for that spot's own page (e.g. Gaomei Wetlands, Longdong, Jinzun).
  2. Read the tide cards — High tide and low tide times and heights are the first thing to check — they decide whether it's safe to go into the water, walk the tidal flats, or surf.
  3. Check the location-specific notes — Things like the Gaomei boardwalk's opening hours, a dive spot's slack-water window, or surf conditions only appear on that location's own page — scroll down after switching locations.
FAQ

What time does the Gaomei Wetlands boardwalk open?

The boardwalk is open roughly 08:00–18:00, but it closes about 1.5 hours before high tide and reopens about 1.5 hours after, so the open window changes daily — check that day’s tide times.

Visit around low tide to walk the boardwalk onto the tidal flat and watch fiddler crabs and mudskippers. Late-afternoon low tide with sunset is the most popular photo time. Always avoid the high-tide closure window and mind your safety.
